CLOUD COUNTRY WEST UNIT ONE POA
Annual Meeting Minutes
July 18, 2015
Mike Crenshaw, President of the Board, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am. A quorum of 30 property owners was not met. The blessing was given by Biff Basham.
The First Discussion was to introduce the minutes of the last annual meeting held on July 19, 2014.
The Second Discussion was to announce the returning Board Members for this coming year: Mike Crenshaw, Bill White and Jim Crenshaw. Also to announce the loss of two members since last year's meeting: Sue Haslam and Gary Merrell. The newest members filling the vacant positions are George Wendt and Charles Norton. Three positions are open every year for any property owner to fill.
The Third Discussion was the Treasurer’s Report given by Cheryl Crenshaw.
The Profit & Loss statement compares this fiscal year (6/1/14 to 5/31/15) to last year. Income reported during this fiscal year was $52,341, which was $4,650 more than last year due to timing in collecting dues. Expenses totalled $52,382. Our expenses equal the amount of money we collect each year. The balance sheet shows cash in the bank of $143,140. The total equity is $204,887. With this amount of money in the bank, we try to maintain at least $100,000 as an emergency reserve and base our expenses on the amount collected each year.
The Fourth Discussion from the Water Board was given by Dennis Mrkvicka.
Two charts were handed out showing water consumption in gallons for 2014 and 2015. Water usage is down from last years usage, due to numerous leaks detected and repaired last year. A list of improvements and activities to the well and system was handed out and read as well.
We are still producing 20,000 to 30,000 gallons of water per day, which is 45 gallons per minute (equivalent to furnishing 165 homes).
The Fifth Discussion from the Road Committee was given by Wally Sanderson
Roads are in good shape now and may need grading after the rainy season is over.
Bill White and Marian Treat expressed appreciation to all the Board Members who work to maintain and keep up the appearance in this subdivision.
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 am for lunch.
