NEWLY OPENED:
        LEPREE'S GLOBAL COMFORT FOOD (across from Post Office) serving homemade soups & sandwiches with homemade bread. (closed Monday and Tuesday), open 11 - 6pm
        BLACK BEAR COFFEE SHOP (located at the end of the boardwalk near Kings Treasure).

Comments:

 *  The Fire Dept. tanks are in as of April 7th 2018.
 *  In December 2017 - CCW donated a piece of property (near the clubhouse) to the county for James Canyon Fire Dept. to store two large water tanks for easy access when fighting fires.  This will be a great benefit to us.
 *  CCW has a Community Page on Facebook, thanks to Jim Swaagman for setting it up; search for: cloud country west poa unit 1, (on facebook app).  Another great site on FB is Cloudcroft Community.
 *  In July 2017, CCW mailboxes were destroyed, a passing car ran them over. They were replaced mid August.

​*   May 2018 - At the Pond a new picnic table with 2 benches was added.  Another female Mallard has gone missing; 6 ducks remain. 
*  July 2017 - Cattails & reeds were removed from the pond doubling the size. 6 ducks were added & get along with our resident mallard drake.
*  May/June 2017 - The pond was reinforced & built up to prevent erosion. Gravel & rock were added on the dam.
*  May 2017
 - We lost our female Mallard duck & her eggs to predators
*   CCW Bridge - was rebuilt in 2014 to match the entrance brick
*   CCW Clubhouse & storage bldg were painted in 2014
*  Recycle Bins are located in the Village in the parking lot across the high school gym.

 * The Chamber of Commerce Bldg was built in 1913 & relocated to it's current location.
 * The original Cloudcroft school house was acquired by the Museum, relocated to the Museum grounds.

WATER SYSTEM:
2005 - 2nd holding tank installed
2010 - New Gallon meter at well site
2011 - An automatic pressure switch was installed at the tanks to replace an old, outdated probe system. 
2011 Oct - A new 15 hp water pump & motor was installed at the well site in CCW.
2014 Feb - A new electrical box was installed at the well site to replace an old outdated & dangerous system 
2016 Nov - Statewide Plumbing replaced 500 ft of underground pipe, due to holes & erosion in old pipe.
2019 Jan - A new pump & motor & gallon meter installed at the well.
