NEW SEPTIC REQUIREMENTS - As of 9/1/10 the State of NM requires .75 acres of land to install a conventional septic system. Septic tanks can NOT be installed until permits and building plans have been submitted to the ACC. Once approved, outside structure must be completed in one year.
